Big Update on Roman Reigns’ Loss on Monday Night Raw, AJ Styles Expected to Win Major World Championship Soon

Reigns Suffers First Pinfall Loss

Roman Reigns’ loss to Big Show on Monday Night Raw this week was the first time in his WWE career that the soon-to-be WrestleMania main-eventer was pinned in singles competition.
Reigns has had multiple encounters over the past two years with Rusev that ended in a draw or disqualification, a “forfeit” loss to Seth Rollins when he did not compete at Night of Champions and more draws with Batista, Randy Orton, Kane and Daniel Bryan. Prior to Monday night, his last pinfall loss in a one-on-one match was in 2012, when Reigns lost to Leo Kruger (now Adam Rose) in FCW.

AJ Styles to Win Major World Title

AJ Styles has been added to the Ring of Honor 13th Anniversary pay-per-view in Las Vegas on 3/1. The “Phenomenal One” will be in action against ACH.
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, it’s expected that Styles will be IWGP World Heavyweight Champion heading into that match. He is currently scheduled to face Hiroshi Tanahashi for the title at The New Beginning in Osaka on 2/11.
